Can you believe that I’m a beauty blogger that has never done a monthly empties feature, and I thought it’s about time I do one. So here’s to the first, and here’s to many more!
Even though I have my holy grail products, I often try out products to find out if I like them or not, and pretty much do a mini review on all of my empty products.
Essence Waterproof Liquid Eyeliner Pen
This month, I had to say goodbye to one of my favourite eyeliners – well goodbye until I make time to head off to the shops again to buy it! I absolutely love this eyeliner, it is affordable and great quality.
It dries quick enough for someone who works fast with their liquid eyeliner, but it dries slow enough for you to make corrections along the way. I would totally recommend this eyeliner if you are just starting out with liquid eyeliner.
Garnier 2 in 1 Makeup Remover Purifying Gel
My skin is incredibly oily, and I find it very difficult to find a face wash that actually works for me. I will have a face wash that will work amazingly for about 3 months and then it’s almost as if my skin becomes immune to the wash and becomes oily again.
I have recently been on the hunt again for another face wash and decided to try the Garnier Face Wash. The one that I picked out isn’t for oily skin, but the one thing that attracted me to the product was the ‘makeup remover’ part. Along with wanting oil free skin, I also love a face wash that can break down my makeup with ease.
So I won’t lie, I was not very happy with the effectiveness of the makeup removing properties of the face wash as I ended up having to wash my face twice to remove the rest of it.
On the plus side, the face wash is incredibly gentle, with great consistency, and I thoroughly enjoyed using it while it last – but it is definitely not for oily skin.
Lamelle Nourish Revitalise Eye Cream
This is my absolute favourite eye cream! It has a smoothing texture and doesn’t ball on the skin. I always feel wide awake once I have applied this cream. Not to mention all the amazing skin benefits that come with this prescription eye cream.
If you love eye creams then I suggest you check out this article that I stumbled across. Reviews.com talked to multiple dermatologists and researched the best ingredients that target certain under eye concerns and they have found the top tested under eye products to suit your under eye concerns as well as your budget! Find out which under eye cream is best for you. All the eye creams are available on Amazon.
Johnson's Oil Control Facial Cream
I love this face cream – the smell, the texture – everything about it is just amazing. It is light and feels great on the skin. I find that a lot of creams leave the skin feeling oily but this cream seems to be absorbed immediately and leaves my skin with a matt finish – which is the goal here!
Good Stuff Spaaah Collection Body Lotion
I found myself browsing my local pharmacy for a great body lotion when I stumbled across this one. Looking at the bottle I knew I just had to smell it, so I waited for everyone in the aisle to leave and then opened the bottle up to smell it, and OMG… it blew me away. I bought it then and there. This body lotion is the perfect thing to put on after a bath or a shower, it left me feeling so girly and refreshed after a relaxing bath.
Bioderma Cicabio Crème
I pretty much love my soothing, repair, and anti-inflammatory creams, and it is not uncommon for me to have about 3 or 4 different types around my house at any given moment. The Bioderma Cicabio Crème is another one of my favourite soothing creams that help me soothing acne inflammation and to help repairs cuts or skin abrasions.
Tattoo Addict Aftercare Cream
I was sent the Tattoo Addict Aftercare Cream a while ago and also wrote a review about it, and since then I have repurchased the item because I loved it so much. I am now throwing away the first bottle.
I pretty much use this cream for anything and everything, from an acne spot treatment to an itch treatment, tattoo care, eczema relief, and even lipbalm!
