I am a food and wine lover, I started my blog to capture all my new recipes and my adventures in the winelands.
I am married to the most amazing husband who is my biggest fan, supporter (and investor). His love and passion for wine makes it so easy to enjoy and learn from each other, this year 2017 we made our first wine, a Cabernet Franc and a Merlot. So I will tell you in 2 years’ time how that went…..
We have two kids that really keeps me busy and so humble, I am sure all the mom’s out there knows what I am talking about, but I couldn’t imagine my life without them! They love to be in the kitchen with me.
Like I said I have a passion and a love for food, wine and traveling. Something that really gives me a kick is discovering a new place or wine. My hobby is visiting wine farms, usually in the mornings before I have to pick up the kids from school (don’t worry I use the spittoon), lucky for me we live in the winelands.
This blog is a tribute to my way of life.
Finding fantastic wines. Choosing my food seasonal. Keeping it local. Exploring my backyard. Enjoying my kitchen. Keeping it simple. Cooking for friends and family. Pairing food and wine. Being active. Travel. Learning more. Love and appreciate people and life. Being content.
