How To Remove Nail Polish Stains

I love my dark nail polishes, especially my reds.

Now we all know that when we take red nail polish off, it stains the cuticle areas and side wall of the nail. I found this little tip on how to remove those stains from these areas.

***

Step 1: Remove the nail polish with nail polish remover and a cotton pad or Q-Tip (however you usually do it). 🙂

Step 2: Put a blob (literally) of toothpaste at the cuticle area.

Step 3: Rub the toothpaste into the cuticle area, side walls and on the nail bed.

Step 4: Wet a scrubbing brush with some water, and then scrub the cuticle area, side walls and the nail.

Step 5: Rinse the cuticle area, side walls and the nail with warm water.

Step 6: Dry your hand with a hand towel and put some cream and cuticle oil on. Make sure that your rub the cuticle oil into the cuticle area and the side walls of the nail.

I did not have red nail polish on before I tried this out, I had a purple nail polish on and so the staining isn’t as bad as what a red polish would leave, but this is just a step by step tutorial on how to do it. Just try it with your red polish stains and you will see how well it works. 😉
